A mix of feminine blush tones and deep blue/black. My week had a slow start but now is all reeved up, I've got two jewelry shows this weekend in Portland and also had a last minute project thrust upon me yesterday. I had to follow my gut and turn the opportunity down so I had this mix of excitement and then reality. The time frame was insane and I got a weird vibe from whole situation. But I felt powerful in my intuition to move on and not do the offered situation.

This week I've been re-reading Enclave by Ann Aguirre. I first read this book while I studied in Italy- I was the only student for two weeks and I don't speak Italian so I had a lot of alone time (which I kind of love). During that time I read a lot of post apocalyptic books with strong female leads. Enclave got me into that field- it's a fantastic story with characters you believe and a situation that doesn't seem far off from what could happen in the shitty reality presented in the book.
I saw Hail, Caesar today and liked the styling of the film. I was happy to see it especially because I had chemistry with Alden Ehrenreich... er, should I say chemistry class? We went to high school together in Santa Monica so it's really fun to see him "livin the dream" and becoming famous. I also watched The Man From U.N.C.L.E. this week and didn't think I was going to be into it, but man, I really liked it! Of course the fashion and locations were amazing, but I really liked the banter and relationship of the three main characters. Kind of a retro week in film visually which was a nice change up from what I usually watch.
Fun easy listening in the studio this week.
Little close up into the behind the scenes of prep for the weekend shows.
