A different visual tone this week; I was pulled to images with strong saturation and vibrant graphics, yet also images in black and white. I internally had some growth this week in which I realized the next "thing" to financially support/develop is the business side of myself (as opposed to investing into another collection etc). I signed up for Hilary Rushford's Elegant Excellence course mainly because the concept is moving away from the "hustlin'" mindset and into creating a life and business with mental space and time for your actual life.
This week I finished re-reading Enclave and Outpost, and then read for the first time the final book in the trilogy, Horde by Ann Aguirre. I absolutely love this series and am so glad I randomly decided to re-read it because it lead me to actually finishing it now that all three books are available. Deuce, our main girl, is so well thought out by Aguirre and her explanations for her actions are so believable for the character created from page one. Her mental and physical strength are so empowering and Aguirre handled the love story aspect well without us losing Deuce. In fact, the love she learns is what makes her even better as opposed to other YA novels where the main girl just loses all of her own identity to be in love with a guy.
This week I started The X-Files from episode 1 season 1 on Netflix. I didn't watch it when it was on T.V. because I was a little young, but I am enthralled now. Obviously Scully and Mulder have smoldering chemistry and it's really awesome to see their partnership develop. Plus those 90's special effects are just clutch.
I had two shows this past weekend so my studio was utter carnage from all the prep and aftermath.
